The new Sustainability Scholars Program launched thanks to a generous gift will make a significant contribution to the Dyson School’s efforts to promote sustainable business. This competitive scholarship is designed to attract the most promising Masters of Professional Studies (MPS) students to the Dyson School’s sustainability-oriented MPS programs, to equip those students to undertake ambitious, creative, impactful projects and link them to cutting-edge organizations.

Awards of $10,000/student to help cover tuition will be made based on the applicant’s qualifications, submission of a sustainability-related project proposal that is implementable and, once implemented, can help modify individual or organizational behavior in ways that help protect the natural environment and its inhabitants, and the applicant’s willingness to work with the faculty mentor appointed by the Dyson School for the student’s proposed project.

To apply for a Sustainability Award please submit:

  • An essay outlining your interest in the program and how you envision your project will meet the goals of the Sustainability Scholarship (max length: 2 pages, font 12, single space)
  • Submissions should be addressed to the MPS Admissions Committee and sent to the program’s e-mail address: mps-abeic@cornell.edu subject: Sustainability Award Application. For questions or further information contact:
